Weekends are for Worship: Worship Inspired by the Breadth of Creation

The vastness of the universe amazes me. When I visualize the size and scale of our world, and contemplate the undiscovered diversity of creation, it reminds me of how amazing the power of God is.

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows his handiwork.
Psalm 19.1

The scale of the universe ranges from the very great to the very small. For a fresh perspective on the magnitude AND “minitude” of our world, examine this visual of the scale of the universe. From what can only be seen by a microscope to what cannot even be seen with a telescope, God’s creation should inspire worship in His creatures.

You, even you, are LORD alone; you have made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and you preserve them all; and the host of heaven worships you.
Nehemiah 9.6
